Moshe
Bashan

I build games, develop AI tools and work with research data. My background connects ecology, deep learning and hands-on technical systems — from identifying bird calls to developing computer vision algorithms.

Projects

Things I’m building and exploring.

GameIn developmentPlayable alpha

Mar-Kav

A multiplayer browser arcade game for up to four players, on one keyboard or across computers. Navigate glowing trails and discover new mechanics through play. Three playable missions introduce the experience, with more content, visuals and sound taking shape as development continues.

AgmoNET

Bird vocalization classification and long-term acoustic activity analysis.

A Python research pipeline that connects field recordings, Mel spectrograms and deep learning with ecological analysis. It targets approximately 23 bird species and turns two years of recordings from two stations into species activity patterns across hours and seasons.

Workboard

A local visual workspace for writing and drawing on an infinite canvas.

Workboard brings editable text and sketches into a shared canvas, with layers, local board files and attention to Hebrew, English and mixed-direction writing. The project focuses on dependable editing behavior, from selecting a font to undoing a text-editing session.

Platformer Lab

A browser-based instrument for tuning, measuring and comparing platformer movement.

Live controls, deterministic replay, A/B comparisons and a room editor turn questions about game feel into repeatable experiments. I defined the specification and acceptance criteria and directed an AI-agent development process; the interface is now undergoing a usability improvement pass.

GameIn design & developmentLocal prototype

Kfotzumhots

A local platform arena prototype with an online multiplayer direction.

The existing prototype supports two to four players on one keyboard, with jumping, stomping and surfaces such as water and ice. Inspired by Jump ’n Bump, it also serves as a movement benchmark for Platformer Lab. A twelve-player online arena is the planned next direction, not a current feature.

Ultimate Platformer

A platform-adventure concept set in one connected, living world.

An exploration of movement, ecology and narrative in a world that changes over a lifetime. The concept connects physical presence, attention and social access as dimensions of one journey. It is currently a structured body of design work, with no playable game implementation.

Researcher · Developer · Creator

From living systems to working software.

My path began in animal sciences and ecology, continued into bioacoustics and deep learning, and grew into research infrastructure and applied development. Alongside that work, I build and explore games.

Working draft

Values that shape the work.

01

Curiosity

Follow the interesting question far enough to understand the system beneath it.

02

Clarity

Make complex ideas legible—to players, teammates, users and future me.

03

Iteration

Build, test, learn and improve through evidence rather than assumption.

04

Useful impact

Connect experimentation to experiences and systems that work in the real world.

Experience

Research meets real-world systems.

2023–2026

R&D Operations Specialist

ATC-Technologies
